Unicorns aren't just mythical creatures, they lived on earth thousands of years ago, and may have lived alongside humans, according to a study in the American journal of Applied Science.
The real unicorns or 'Elasmotherium Sibiricu' actually looked similar with Rhinoceros. It was described as a shaggy creature standing 2 meter high, 4.5 meters long and weighs up to 4 tons.
Scientists believed that Elasmotherium Sibiricu went extinct 350,000 years ago. But the discovery of a skull in the Pavlodar region of Kazakhstan provides evidence that they only died out about 29,000 years ago.
Researchers are now studying how this creature was able to survive so much longer than many of its kind.
