14-Year Old Girl Sings Carol Banawa's 'Iingatan Ka' On The Voice Teens Philippines Blind Audition

On May 14, Sunday's Voice Teens Philippines Blind Audition, a 14-year old girl named Patricia Bonilla sang Carol Banawa's "Iingatan Ka."

At the beginning of her performance, coach Lea had her eyes closed and looked impressed already. In fact, Lea was first to turn her chair.

According to coach Lea: “It’s not like 14 years old yung kumakanta sa harapan ko. Parang mas malalim na yung mga naranasan mo sa buhay”.

Before the chorus part, Sarah also turned her chair. She said that she was drawn on Patricia’s soft notes. Sarah also gave an advise saying “Para sa akin unnecessary na yung gigil, yung paglaki ng boses”.

The remaining two coaches, Sharon and Bamboo pressed the button on Patricia’s last few notes.

Coach Sharon said that she was already impressed with Patricia even at the first part of her performance. She pointed out that she ot more impressed on how she ended the song that Sharon described as “Hindi pilit. It was just the natural way it should have ended.”

Coach Bamboo tried to convince Patricia by saying that he has nobody like in his team and said that Patricia would be a fine addition to Camp Kawayan.

Patricia choose to join Team Sharon.

During the interview, Patricia said that she got her singing talent from her mom Mau whom the coaches recognized as "Ate Mau."
