A marriage proposal is an event where one person in a relationship asks for the other's hand in marriage. If accepted, it marks the initiation of engagement, a mutual promise of later marriage.
If you care enough about someone to propose marriage, you should choose your words carefully to make them as meaningful as possible to your partner. Don't just ask. "Will you marry me?". Find a more creative way to express your feelings and intentions before you utter those four very important words. Make those words count.
