Lyka Mae Pareja a Davao City resident posted a photo on Facebook last Thursday June 9. Netizens were amazed by humility and simplicity of him, instead eating in a luxurious restaurants the Mayor chose to eat in a simple carinderia. Before he was elected President, Duterte was spotted many times taking meal at foodcourt, simple restaurants and roadside eateries.
One of Duterte’s supporters said that “Maybe he is just spending his remaining days as a Mayor of Davao City.
A lot of people were concerned about his safety, after some reports that drug lords offered P50 million reward to kill him.
